A Flexible Communication Approach
A central tenet of the NorthStar philosophy is to allow our clients to access our services in the way that suits them best.
As well as our client portal that our clients can access 24/7, we provide consultations and planning meetings with our financial planners in a number of ways.
For some clients, face-to-face meetings are the best solution. These are great and can make the financial planning process faster and easier but there is often a time cost involved in travelling to and from meetings that some of our clients prefer to avoid. We can arrange meetings at our office, your home or place of work (subject to the location and distance from NorthStar HQ).
Some clients prefer phone meetings as these are easy to arrange and can be done anywhere at any time. We find that phone meetings are great for introductory and straightforward meetings by are usually best avoided for more complex discussions. Others are discovering the benefits of video calls. We use Appear.in to provide our video calling facilities, allowing us to conduct a remote meeting with you from any location. Another advantage of video calls is that we can show you documents and other information on screen during the meeting, providing a fully immersive financial planning experience wherever you are. As time goes on, we are finding that this method is becoming ever more popular with our clients as they discover the advantages it offers.

Face-to-Face Meetings
We meet with you in person at our office, your home or place of work (all subject to the location and distance from NorthStar HQ) at a specific time and place as required.
Phone Meetings
Telephone meetings are booked into a specific time slot. We suggest calls are taken when you have sufficient time and have a quiet environment in which to talk.
Virtual Online Meetings
Once a virtual online (video call) meeting is scheduled, you are provided with our Zoom meeting room. We suggest virtual online meeting are conducted when you are in a quiet environment.
